GB/T 30647-2014 "Determination of Total Content of Hazardous Elements in Coatings" specifies the methods for determining the total content of hazardous elements such as lead, cadmium, chromium, mercury, and arsenic in coatings, and is applicable to the testing of various types of coating products. Samples can be processed through dry ashing, wet acid digestion, or microwave digestion methods. The detection requires the use of a microwave digestion instrument, a muffle furnace, an analytical balance with an accuracy of 0.1 mg, as well as instruments such as atomic absorption spectrometers, inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometers, or mass spectrometers. By establishing calibration curves, the content of elements is quantitatively analyzed, providing a unified technical standard for the environmental safety assessment of coating products.
