    Determination of compatibility index of cationic dyes for dyeing acrylic fibers

    This standard specifies the method for determining the compatibility index of cationic dyes in the dyeing process of acrylic fibers. The compatibility index is a key indicator for assessing whether uniform and stable colors can be achieved when different dyes are mixed. The basic principle of the test is as follows: the dye to be tested is mixed and dyed separately with two sets of standard yellow and blue dyes with known compatibility indices. The compatibility index is then evaluated by comparing the color changes of the dyed fabrics. During the test, a high-precision analytical balance is required to accurately weigh the dyes, a laboratory dyeing machine is used to complete the dyeing under controlled conditions, and a pH meter is employed to ensure that the pH value of the dye bath meets the standard requirements.
