GB/T 37280-2019 "Determination of Microorganisms in Fluorescent Whitening Agent Products" is applicable to various types of fluorescent whitening agent products for determining the total number of colonies and mold content. Using instruments such as an analytical balance, homogenizer, and autoclave, the sample is diluted with physiological saline and homogenized to prepare a series of dilutions. Tryptic Soy Agar medium (for total colony count) and Potato Dextrose Agar medium (for mold) are poured separately, followed by incubation at 37°C for 48 hours and 28°C for 120 hours, respectively, for counting. The standard specifies requirements for aseptic operations, preparation of culture media, and calculation of results to ensure the accuracy of microbial testing.
