GB/T 9263-2020 "Determination of anti-slip properties of anti-slip coatings" is applicable to the laboratory testing of the anti-slip properties of single-layer or multi-layer coating systems of anti-slip coatings. Field tests may be conducted by reference. Using a friction coefficient test device, a slider is placed on the coating surface with a specified force applied. The static friction force is measured through horizontal relative movement, and the static friction coefficient is calculated to evaluate the anti-slip properties. Test panels must be prepared according to regulations and conditioned under standard temperature and humidity conditions for at least 16 hours. The arithmetic mean of three test results (retained to two decimal places) is taken as the final result. The determination of coating thickness, test procedures, and reporting requirements are specified.
