Test method for determining the resistance of paints film to mold

GB/T 1741-2020 "Determination of resistance to mould growth of paint films" is applicable to architectural paint films, and other types of paint films may be implemented by reference. Using the petri dish method or suspension method, a specific mixed mold spore suspension is inoculated on the surface of the paint film, and cultured for 28 days (extendable to 56 days) in an environment of 25-30°C and relative humidity ≥85%. By observing the area of mold growth, the mold resistance level is rated on a scale of 0-4, specifying the mold concentration, sample preparation, and test conditions, providing a unified basis for evaluating the mold resistance performance of paint films.
