GB/T 44161-2024 "Disperse dyes — Determination of thermal migration" is applicable to the determination of the thermal migration of disperse dyes, specifying that thermal migration refers to the characteristic of dyes migrating from the interior to the surface of fibers during the dry heat treatment of dyed fabrics. The dye is applied to polyester fabric using a high-temperature and high-pressure method. After dry heat treatment at 180°C, the degree of staining on standard cotton adjacent fabrics is assessed, or the absorbance is determined by extraction with N,N-dimethylformamide, to evaluate the dye migration. The standard specifies the required reagents, materials, instruments, equipment, and test procedures.
