    Cationic dyes - Determination of fiber saturation value、dye saturation value and saturation factor in acrylic dyeing

    GB/T 2401-2006 "Cationic dyes - Determination of saturation value of acrylic fibres, saturation value of dyes and saturation factor in dyeing acrylic fibres" specifies the test methods for determining the relevant saturation values and factors when cationic dyes are used to dye acrylic fibers. It is applicable to the testing of the dyeing compatibility between cationic dyes and acrylic fibers. Using spectrophotometry, through multi-level dyeing depth tests, the absorbance of the residual liquor is measured to calculate the dye uptake rate, thereby determining the saturation values and factors. The testing requires instruments such as a spectrophotometer, constant temperature water bath, analytical balance, and dyeing machine, guiding the design of dyeing formulations.
