GB/T 46445.1-2025 "Imaging Materials and Printed Matter - Wear Resistance - Part 1: General Friction Test Method" is applicable to the wear resistance testing of analog and digital printed matter (including photographs, graphics, and office printed matter on various substrates). It is identical to the international standard and expands the scope of application. It specifies a quasi-linear reciprocating wear test method, clarifies the performance requirements for test equipment, environmental temperature and humidity control, sample preparation, and the criteria for selecting friction media. It covers core content such as operational procedures (including fixation methods and speed control) and result evaluation (based on changes in appearance and physical properties), and permits the use of various types of wear testers.
