GB/T 1768-2006 "Paints and varnishes - Determination of resistance to abrasion - Rotating abrasive rubber wheel method" specifies a method for determining the abrasion resistance of paint films using the rotating abrasive rubber wheel method, applicable to various types of paint and varnish films. By means of an abrasion testing machine, the rubber abrasive wheel rotates and rubs against the paint film under a specified load, and the number of rotations or the amount of wear required to achieve a specified degree of wear is measured.
