pH Indicator Paper

Acid-base pH test paper utilizes filter paper impregnated with indicators that change color upon contact with a solution. The acidity or alkalinity is determined by comparing the color change with a standard color chart. Selection
Select the pH paper range based on the properties of the solution to be tested; strongly corrosive solutions require specialized pH paper. Observe the stepwise precision of the color chart. Use full-range (1-14) pH paper for general testing, and choose narrow-range pH paper for precise measurements. Store in a dark, sealed place to avoid moisture and prevent failure.
