ProfiloMeter

The profilometer moves by contacting the object's surface with a probe, recording height variation data to form a two-dimensional contour curve. It is used to measure surface roughness, step height, and geometric dimensions, and is applied in industrial inspection to control the morphological accuracy of machined parts.
Selection
Select probe type based on measurement accuracy, choose measurement force range according to sample hardness, and determine scanning speed based on material properties. Consider environmental vibrations to select vibration isolation configurations, and choose analysis software modules according to data requirements.
