Glue Coating Metering Rod

The glue coating metering rod is a round rod with grooves on its surface that controls the coating thickness by scraping off excess adhesive. It enables quantitative coating on paper and film substrates, and is used in the production of labels and packaging materials.
Selection
Select the rod length based on the substrate width, determine the groove depth according to the coating requirements, and choose the groove shape in combination with the glue viscosity. Consider the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the material, and match the production line speed.
