Wood Board Coating Thickness Meter

The wood board coating thickness gauge measures coating thickness through magnetic induction or eddy current principles. The magnetic induction method is used for magnetic coatings on non-magnetic substrates, while the eddy current method is suitable for non-magnetic coatings on non-conductive substrates. This instrument is used to detect the thickness of paint films on wood products such as furniture and building materials, ensuring coating uniformity.
Selection
When selecting, consider the substrate type and coating characteristics. Use instruments based on the eddy current principle for magnetic substrates and instruments based on the magnetic induction principle for non-magnetic substrates. Choose the measurement range based on the coating thickness range, with 0-2000 micrometers for conventional coatings. Pay attention to measurement accuracy and probe size, using a micro-probe for small curved surfaces. The operation modes are divided into handheld and benchtop types, with handheld devices preferred for on-site inspections.
