Scraper fineness Gauge for paints

The paint fineness gauge uses a calibrated wedge-shaped groove scraper to trap larger particles in the coating during uniform scraping, and reads the fineness value based on the position where the particles appear. It is used to detect the particle dispersion degree of liquid materials such as paints and inks, control product uniformity, and prevent surface roughness of the coating film.
Selection
When selecting, consider matching the viscosity range of the material to be tested with the range of the scraper. For conventional coatings, choose 0-50 μm; for high-fineness materials, choose 0-25 μm. The stainless steel scraper is wear-resistant and should be used with standard test paper. The operating environment should be free of vibration, the scraping speed should be kept constant, and readings should be taken with the line of sight perpendicular to the scale to avoid errors.
