Metering Rod Coating Machine

The metering rod Coater transfers coating onto the substrate surface by rolling a stainless steel rod, with grooves engraved on the rod to control the coating thickness. It is used in laboratories to prepare uniform wet films, simulate the blade coating process, and is suitable for quality testing of inks, paper, and coatings.
Selection
Choose the rod diameter based on substrate thickness, select the groove depth according to viscosity, and determine the rod length by the experimental area.
