Automatic Film Applicator System

The laboratory coating applicator, also known as a film applicator, uses mechanical transmission to drive a blade or roller, evenly spreading the coating material on the substrate surface to form a wet film. It is used to simulate industrial coating processes, preparing standard-thickness coating samples in the laboratory for subsequent drying, curing, and performance testing.
Selection
When selecting, consider the substrate type and size to match the coating width, ensure the coating thickness range covers experimental needs, and the control accuracy meets sample reproducibility requirements. Manual models are suitable for simple coating, while automatic models are ideal for precise coating requiring constant line speed. Choose between blade or roller coating structures based on the viscosity of the coating material.
