Straight-line Applicator

The linear Coater uses a metal rod to scrape uniformly across the substrate surface, spreading the coating into a wet film of specified thickness. It is used in laboratories to simulate coating processes and test properties such as the leveling and hiding power of coatings.
Selection
Select the rod diameter based on the viscosity of the coating, with thicker rods for high viscosity. Choose the wire diameter according to testing standards, as it determines the wet film thickness.
