Ultrasonic floor thickness Gauge

The ultrasonic floor thickness gauge transmits high-frequency sound waves into the floor through a probe. The sound waves reflect upon encountering the bottom surface and are then received. The instrument calculates the floor thickness based on the propagation time of the sound waves. It is used to detect the thickness of concrete structures and confirm whether the floor dimensions meet requirements during construction and quality inspections.
Selection
When selecting, consider that the measurement range should cover common slab thicknesses, and the accuracy should meet the allowable engineering error values. The probe size should match the flatness of the detection surface, and the instrument must have calibration capabilities. When environmental temperature affects the speed of sound waves, the device should have temperature compensation. Portability and battery life should be suitable for on-site use.
