Wet Film Thickness Roller

The wet film thickness wheel determines the thickness by rolling a toothed wheel over the wet coating surface. After the teeth grooves pick up the coating, the uncoated teeth positions are observed, and the corresponding scale indicates the wet film thickness. It is used for rapid monitoring of coating thickness during application to prevent excessive or insufficient thickness. Commonly used in paint and ink application sites.
Selection
Select a roller with a measurement range that matches the estimated coating thickness, typically within the 25–250 μm range. For high-viscosity coatings, choose a model with deeper grooves.
