Integrating Sphere Haze Meter

The integrating sphere haze meter measures the light transmittance and haze value of materials based on the principle of diffuse reflection on the inner wall of the spherical cavity. After light passes through the sample, part of it scatters. The detector separately receives the direct transmitted light and the total transmitted light, and calculates the proportion of scattered luminous flux. It is used for detecting the transparency and turbidity of materials such as plastic films, glass, and coatings.
Selection
When selecting, pay attention to the measurement range to ensure it covers the haze range of the samples and complies with standards such as ASTM D1003. Consider the compatibility of the sample size with the instrument's fixtures, and utilize automatic testing functions to minimize operational discrepancies. Verify the instrument's repeatability data and perform regular calibrations to ensure measurement consistency. Configure transmission or reflection measurement accessories based on the sample's morphology.
