Hot Air Convection Drying Oven

Hot air drying ovens generate circulating hot air through electric heaters and fans, causing samples to be uniformly heated at set temperatures. Moisture or solvents evaporate due to the heat and are then expelled from the chamber. They are used in laboratories for drying, curing, or moisture determination of samples such as coatings and plastics, and are suitable for material processing that requires a stable temperature environment.
Selection
When selecting, consider the sample size to determine the inner chamber volume, choose the temperature control accuracy based on the material's temperature resistance range, and optionally select timer or programmable temperature control functions as needed. Note that the insulation performance of the chamber and the air duct design affect temperature uniformity, and a stainless steel interior facilitates the cleaning of corrosive sample residues.

Temperature gradient control in high-temperature ovens during thermal resistance testing.
The heat resistance test simulates the performance of materials under high temperatures using a high-temperature oven, and the accuracy of its results is highly dependent on the uniformity of temperature inside the oven. What are the differences between a vacuum oven and a conventional oven?
The main difference between a vacuum oven and a conventional oven lies in their working pressure. Conventional ovens operate at atmospheric pressure, heating through air convection, making them suitable for routine drying tasks. In contrast, vacuum ovens are evacuated to low pressure to reduce air presence, primarily relying on thermal radiation for heat transfer. This makes them ideal for processing heat-sensitive, oxidation-prone materials or those requiring thorough drying.
