Rubber Thickness Caliper

The rubber thickness gauge measures the thickness of rubber products through mechanical contact or non-contact methods. Its principle is based on the contact between the probe and the material surface or the detection of distance variations. It is used to monitor the uniformity of production thickness and is applied in quality control processes for rubber sheets, seals, and other components.
Selection
When selecting, consider the measurement range covering the sample thickness. Contact methods are suitable for soft rubber to avoid deformation, while non-contact methods are used for materials with easily damaged surfaces. The accuracy must match the process requirements, the probe size should fit the measured area, and the influence of environmental temperature requires calibration and compensation.
