Magnetic method film thickness Gauge

The magnetic film thickness gauge utilizes the principle of magnetic attraction, measuring the thickness of non-magnetic coatings through changes in magnetic flux between the probe and the substrate. It is used to detect coatings such as paint and plastic on steel substrates, and to assess coating uniformity in industrial quality inspection.
Selection
Confirm that the substrate is magnetic metal and the coating is non-magnetic material. Select the probe size based on the shape of the workpiece—use a standard probe for flat surfaces and a small probe for curved surfaces. Ensure the measurement range covers the expected thickness, and choose a corrosion-resistant model if the environment is corrosive.
