Rubber Blanket Hardness Tester

The rubber hardness tester measures the indentation depth of a probe pressed into the rubber surface under constant pressure, converting it into a hardness value. It is used to test the softness or hardness of printing rollers and rubber blankets, ensuring uniform printing pressure and clear image transfer. It is applied in printing machine manufacturing, roller production, and print quality control.
Selection
When selecting, consider the thickness and curvature of the material being tested. Choose benchtop models for flat materials and portable ones for curved surfaces. Select Shore A or D type based on the rubber hardness range. Compare industry standards and choose instruments that comply with ASTM or ISO specifications. Calibration certificates and repeat measurement accuracy must meet daily testing requirements.
