Coating Porosity Detection Meter

The coating porosity tester measures the number of micropores on the coating surface using the electrolyte penetration method. Electrolyte is applied to the coating surface, and after electrification, the current passing through the pores is recorded. The magnitude of the current is proportional to the number of pores. It is used to evaluate the sealing performance of metal anti-corrosion coatings and electroplated layers, as well as to monitor coating quality in the automotive manufacturing and shipbuilding industries.
Selection
Focus on measurement accuracy and the detection range of pore diameter, ensuring compatibility with the coating thickness to be tested. Consider whether the instrument supports different electrolyte formulations and verify the validity of the calibration certificate. The operation interface should be user-friendly, and the data export function must meet recording requirements. Select appropriate fixtures based on the sample size and confirm that the power supply is suitable for the on-site environment.
