Glass Plate Film Applicator

The glass plate applicator uses a flat glass substrate and an adjustable gap blade to uniformly coat liquid samples onto the substrate surface. It is used in laboratories to prepare wet films of standard thickness, simulate spraying and roller coating processes, and test properties such as leveling and hiding power of coatings.
Selection
When selecting, consider matching the substrate size to the coating width, ensuring the gap adjustment range covers the required film thickness, using a scraper material that is corrosion-resistant, and having an anti-slip design on the operating table. For manual models, pay attention to the handle grip feel, and for automatic models, focus on speed stability.
