Zinc coating cross-cut cutter

The zinc layer cross-cut cutter uses blades to cut a grid on the galvanized surface, disrupting the adhesion between the coating and the substrate. Combined with tape peeling, it evaluates the adhesion strength. It is used to test the bonding strength of metal coatings such as galvanized sheets and color-coated sheets, and to assess the coating's resistance to peeling.
Selection
When selecting, consider the blade spacing to meet standard requirements, ensure the blade hardness is higher than that of the zinc coating, and maintain sharp cutting edges. The handle should provide a comfortable grip, and the overall structure must be sturdy. Choose the cutting depth based on common zinc coating thickness to ensure the coating is fully penetrated without damaging the base material.
