Paper Moisture Meter

The paper moisture meter detects the moisture content of paper through the resistance method or capacitance method. The resistance method measures the resistance value by utilizing the conductive properties of moisture, while the capacitance method detects the capacitance value based on changes in the dielectric constant of moisture. It is used in paper production and storage processes to monitor paper humidity, preventing deformation and mildew.
Selection
When selecting, consider the measurement range covering common paper moisture content. Contact-type probes are suitable for flat paper surfaces, while non-contact types are ideal for high-speed production lines. Pay attention to temperature compensation functionality and review the calibration certificate. Adjust the measurement mode based on paper thickness and compare the response speeds of different models.
