Shore scleroscope

The Shore durometer propels a striker to impact the material surface via a spring, measuring the ratio of rebound height to impact height to determine hardness. It is used for on-site hardness testing of materials such as rubber and plastics, offering simple and quick operation.
Selection
When selecting, consider the material type and thickness: choose Type A for rubber and Type D for plastics; the measurement range should cover the hardness of the object being tested; the environmental temperature should adapt to -20℃ to 60℃; ensure accuracy with a calibration certificate; analog dials are suitable for on-site use, while digital displays facilitate recording.
