Film Permeability Tester

The film air permeability tester measures the rate at which gas penetrates a film using the gas pressure differential method. The instrument creates a pressure difference on both sides of the film, records the amount of gas transmitted and the time, and calculates the air permeability coefficient. It is used to test the gas barrier properties of film products such as packaging materials and protective gear, ensuring that the materials meet usage requirements.
Selection
When selecting, consider the compatibility between the test gas type and the material, ensure the pressure difference range covers application requirements, and verify that the measurement accuracy meets standard specifications. The operation interface should be intuitive and user-friendly, with good sensor stability and reliable calibration functions. Refer to industry testing standards such as ASTM D1434 to ensure instrument compatibility. The ease of maintenance and data output methods should align with standard laboratory workflows.
