Overview
FA2204M Density Electronic Balance is a High Accuracy Electronic Balance developed by HENGPING brand on the basis of FA/JA series. It uses a unique electromagnetic force equilibrated Sensor and a high-performance monolithic microprocessor system, which integrates accuracy, stability, multi-function and automation, and can meet the requirements of laboratory Density measurement and mass analysis. Just equip the Density measurement component to measure solid Density simply, directly and clearly, and can realize direct reading of liquid, solid and particulate matter (PM) Density, effectively reducing the tediousness of manual conversion and human error.

Principle
This Density Balance is based on the Archimedes principle for Density determination. Solid Density is calculated using the formula P (Solid Density) = [a/(a-b) ] * (Po-Pl) + Pl by measuring the mass (a) of the solid in air and its mass (b) in an auxiliary liquid of known density (e.g. water or ethanol), combined with the auxiliary liquid Density (Po) and the air Density (Pl, usually 0.0012g/cm ³).

Steps
1. Connect the Power Adapter (220V to DC6V × 2A).
2. Place the Balance on a stable platform and turn it on to warm up.
3. Density measurement components are installed according to measurement requirements.
4. The sample to be tested is weighed in air and mass (a) is recorded.
5. Immerse the sample in an auxiliary liquid (such as water) of known Density and weigh it, recording mass (b).
6. Balance will automatically calculate and display the Density value directly according to the built-in formula.
Notice
* Please use the specified external AC Power Adapter (220V to DC6V × 2A).
The instrument should be placed on a stable, vibration-free platform for use.
* Adequate preheating is required before use to ensure measurement accuracy.
* Density measurement for solids, ensure that the Density of auxiliary liquids such as water or ethanol is known and accurate.
* When immersing the sample, ensure that the sample is completely immersed and free of bubbles.
* Do not exceed the weighing range of Balance (0~ 220g).
* Keep the pan and Density components clean to avoid contamination affecting measurement results.
* Integration time can be adjusted as needed (2.5/5/10s) for best stable reading.
