Overview
FA3204M Density Electronic Balance is a High Accuracy Electronic Balance developed by HENGPING brand on the basis of FA/JA series. It uses a unique electromagnetic force equilibrated Sensor and a high-performance monolithic microprocessor system, which integrates accuracy, stability, multi-function and automation, and can meet the requirements of laboratory Density measurement and mass analysis. Just equip the Density measurement component to accurately and easily measure solid Density and realize direct reading of liquid, solid and particulate matter (PM), effectively reducing the tediousness and human error of manual conversion.

Principle
Density measurement of solids is based on the Archimedes principle. Solid Density values are derived from measurements of the mass (a) of solids in air and their mass (b) in auxiliary liquids of known density, such as water or ethanol, in combination with auxiliary liquid Density (Po) and air Density (Pl, approximately 0.0012g/cm ³) using the formula P (Solid Density) = [a/(a-b) ] * (Po-Pl) + Pl.

Steps
1. Connect the Power Adapter and turn on Balance.
2. Density measurement components are installed according to measurement requirements.
3. Place the sample to be tested on a pan, weigh it in air, and record mass (a).
4. Immerse the sample in an auxiliary liquid of known Density (such as water or ethanol), weigh it again, and record mass (b).
5. Balance will automatically calculate and display the Density value of the sample according to the built-in formula.
Notice
* Please use 220V External AC Power Adapter (DC6V × 2A) for power supply.
* The net weight of the instrument is about 8000g, please make sure to place the platform firmly.
* Weighing range 0~ 320g, do not overload.
* The integration time can be adjusted as needed (2.5/5/10s adjustable) to optimize the stabilization time (≤ 8s).
* When using the Density measurement function, ensure that the Density of the auxiliary fluid (e.g. water or ethanol) is known and accurate.
* When measuring, make sure that the sample is completely immersed in the liquid and does not contact the container wall.
* Keep the pan (φ 80mm) and measurement components clean to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy.
* Instrument dimensions are 366 * 230 * 340mm, please reserve enough operating space.
