Overview
HENGPING JA1003M Density Electronic Balance is a precision instrument based on High Accuracy Electromagnetic Force equilibrate Sensor and monolithic microprocessor system. It integrates Density measurement function on the basis of FA/JA series. It is easy to operate, and only needs to be equipped with Density measurement components to directly and clearly measure solid Density, and can realize direct reading of liquid, solid and particulate matter (PM) Density, effectively reducing the tediousness and error of manual conversion.

Principle
The Density Balance is calculated by measuring the mass of the solid neutralized in air in an auxiliary liquid of known density (such as water or ethanol), combined with the air Density, using the formula P (Solid Density) = [a/(a-b) ] (Po-Pl) + Pl, where a is the mass of the solid in air, b is the mass of the solid in the liquid, Po is the auxiliary liquid Density, and Pl is the air Density (0.0012g/cm ³). The instrument can directly display the calculation results.

Steps
1. Connect the Power Adapter and turn on Balance preheating.
2. Density measurement assembly installed.
3. The solid sample to be tested is weighed in air and the mass a is recorded.
4. Immerse the sample in an auxiliary liquid of known Density (e.g. water or ethanol) and weigh it, recording mass b.
5. Balance automatically calculates and directly displays the solid Density value according to the built-in formula.

• Please use 220V External AC Power Adapter (DC6V × 2A) for power supply.
• The net weight of the instrument is 8kg, please place it on a stable table for use.
• Weighing range 0-100g, do not overload.
• Please select the appropriate integration time according to the sample characteristics before use (2/4/8 s adjustable).
• Ensure that Auxiliary Fluid (e.g. water or ethanol) Density is known and accurate.
• Air Density (0.0012g/cm ³) should be taken into account when measuring.
The settling time is usually less than or equal to 6 seconds. Please wait for the reading to stabilize before recording.
