Overview
HENGPING JA2003M Density Electronic Balance is an Electronic Balance based on High Accuracy Electromagnetic Force Equilibrate Force Sensor and high-performance monolithic microprocessor system. It integrates accuracy, stability, multi-function and automation. On the basis of meeting the requirements of routine mass analysis in the laboratory, the product can be equipped with Density measurement components to easily and accurately measure solid Density, and the operation is intuitive and simple. It can realize Density measurement and direct reading of liquid, solid and particulate matter (PM), effectively reducing the tediousness and human error of manual conversion.

Principle
The Density Balance is based on the Archimedes principle for Density measurement. For solids, the solid Density is calculated using the formula P (Solid Density) = [a/(a-b) ] * (Po-Pl) + Pl by measuring its mass (a) in air and its mass (b) in auxiliary liquids of known density (e.g. water or ethanol), combining auxiliary liquid Density (Po) and air Density (Pl, usually 0.0012g/cm ³).

Steps
1. Install and connect Density measurement components.
2. Connect the Balance to the power supply (using a 220V external AC Power Adapter, the output is DC6V × 2A).
3. According to the measurement requirements, select the solid, liquid or particulate matter (PM) measurement mode.
4. For solid Density measurement, first weigh the mass (a) of the sample in air.
5. Then immerse the sample in an auxiliary liquid of known Density (e.g. water) and weigh its mass (b).
6. Balance will automatically calculate and display the Density value directly according to the built-in formula.
Notice
• Please use the specified 220V External AC Power Adapter (DC6V × 2A) to power the instrument.
• The net weight of the instrument is 8000g, please pay attention when handling and placing.
Depending on measurement needs and environment, the integration time can be adjusted between 2, 4 or 8 seconds for optimal stability.
• The instrument stabilization time is usually ≤ 6 seconds, please wait until the reading is stable before recording.
• When using the Density measurement function, ensure that the Density of the auxiliary fluid (e.g. water or ethanol) is known and accurate.
• When measuring solid Density, ensure that the sample is completely immersed in the auxiliary liquid and not in contact with the container wall.
• Keep the pan (size φ 100mm) and Density components clean to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy.
• Instrument dimensions are 366 * 230 * 340mm, please reserve enough operating space.
