Principle
The Applicator rod uses a wire-wound design. A uniform gap is formed on the surface of the rod body through stainless steel wire. When the coating bar moves on the surface of the substrate, the Coating forms a wet-film of a specific thickness through the wire gap. The wire-wound diameter of 1.32mm determines that the wet film thickness of the Spreader is 118.9μm.
