Overview
LANDTEK SHS-1 (Type D) Shore Shore Durometer testing device is a test bracket used with Shore Shore Durometer Type D to improve the Precision of rubber Hardness measurement. By applying a weight test force on the central axis of the hardness gauge, the pressure foot is stably pressed on the sample to achieve a stable and accurate Hardness value, and the total mass required by GB/T 531.1-2008 meets the requirements of 5kg.
Features
1. Use with D-type Shore Shore Durometer to improve Measuring accuracy; 2. Apply test force through weight to ensure stable and accurate Hardness value; 3. Meet GB/T531.1-2008 standard requirements; 4. Complete configuration, including locking screws, fixed load weight, operating handle and other accessories.
Principle
The SHS-1D Shore Shore Durometer testing device applies a weight test force on the central axis of the hardness gauge, so that the hardness gauge is pressed on the sample to achieve stable and accurate Hardness measurement.
Steps
1. Connect the D-type Shore Shore Durometer to the testing device rack through the clamping rod, and place the Hardness measuring block on the Glass countertop; 2. Press down the operating handle, so that the Hardness block is pressed down under the action of the fixed load weight, and the pressing needle is aligned and enters the Hardness measuring block hole until the pressure foot is in full contact with the measuring block plane; 3. Check whether the hardness gauge value is within the Hardness measurement hole logo Hardness +/- 1, otherwise adjust the indication to within 100 +/- 1 by adjusting the nut; 4. Put the test sample on the Glass table, press down the handle, and read the Hardness value at the specified time after the hardness gauge is in full contact with the sample under the action of fixed load weight.
Notice
• If the hardness gauge is not equipped with a Hardness gauge block, the operating handle can be depressed to press the hardness gauge on the work surface to ensure that the pressing foot is in complete contact with the plane of the Glass workbench; • The reading time varies according to the material type: 15s for thermal plasticity rubber, 3s for vulcanized rubber or Miscellaneous type rubber, and 1s for microporous materials after receiving the test load.
