Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 FNRS3-E Coating Thickness Gauge is an advanced dual-use thickness gauge that can automatically identify different types of substrates. It can measure the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic substrates and the thickness of nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic substrates. The measurement range is 0~ 1500 microns. The instrument is externally connected to Probe, supports Bluetooth data connection, and supports scanning measurement function.
Features
1. Automatically identify different types of substrates, support coating measurement of magnetic substrates and nonmagnetic substrates
2. Measurement range up to 0~ 1500 microns
3. External FNRS Probe Design
4. Support Bluetooth data connection
5. With scanning measurement function
6.2.8 inch Color Touchscreen Operation
7. Large data storage capacity, can store 250,000 Measured values and 1000 packets
8. Protection Rating IP65
9. Measurement speed up to 180 + readings per minute
Principle
Using magnetic Induction and eddy Current dual Measurement principle, the substrate type can be automatically identified and the corresponding Measurement mode can be selected. For nonmagnetic coatings on magnetic substrates, the principle of magnetic Induction measurement is used, and for nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic substrates, the principle of eddy Current measurement is used.
Applications
Coating thickness measurement, platings thickness detection, surface preparation quality control
