Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 FKS1 Coating thickness gauge is a split standard thickness gauge designed for the measurement of nonmagnetic Coating thickness on magnetic metal substrates. The Measurement range can reach 0~ 13000 μm (13mm), which is the largest model in the Positector6000 series. Equipped with a dedicated thick coating FKS1 Probe, it has good abrasion resistance and is equipped with STDP5 calibration standard board.

Principle
Coating thickness measurement on magnetic metal substrate by magnetic Induction principle. Coating thickness value is calculated accurately by Probe sensing substrate magnetic change.

Steps
1. Install 3 * AAA alkaline battery
2. Use STDP5 calibration standard plate to calibrate
3. Place FKS1 Probe on the surface of the coating to be tested
4. Read measurement data
5. Connect PosiSoft software to manage data through USB interface
