Overview
The Defelsko PosiTector 6000 FHXS3 Coating thickness gauge is a nondestructive testing instrument produced by Defelsko in the United States, dedicated to high thickness coating measurement. The Probe is made of wear-resistant aluminum alloy with braided cable, suitable for high temperatures and rough surfaces. The instrument is designed with a split structure and can extend the length of the Probe cable for remote measurement.

Steps
1. Install 3 * AAA alkaline batteries.
2. Connect the external Probe and extend the cable length as needed.
3. Open the device and select the system language (Chinese or English).
4. Probes are placed on the nonmagnetic coating surface of the ferrous metal substrate for measurement.
5. Use Touchscreen to view measurement results, statistics and graphics.
6. Connect the PosiSoft software suite for data transmission through a USB or Bluetooth interface.
Notice
• Only for nonmagnetic coating measurements on ferrous metal substrates.
• Make sure Probe cables are firmly connected before use to avoid damage when used in extreme temperatures or rough surfaces.
• Regularly calibrate using Defelsko calibrated STDP7.
• Pay attention to the battery power and replace the 3 * AAA alkaline battery in time.
• Pay attention to group management when storing data to avoid data loss.
Keep Equipment Clean, Protection Rating IP65, but avoid prolonged exposure to harsh environments.
