Overview
The LEEB leeb221 Coating thickness gauge is an eddy Current thickness gauge with a red hard plastic case and N1 split Probe for measuring the thickness of nonconductive insulating coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates such as zinc, copper, aluminum, plastics on tin, paints, rubber, oxide films, etc. Measurement range is 0 to 1250 microns, using a one-point Calibration method.
Features
1. 500 Measured values can be stored
2. With data deletion function and power undervoltage indication function
3. Measurement modes available
4. Supports both working methods
5. Limits can be set, and automatic alarms for exceeding limits
6. Support automatic shutdown and manual shutdown
7. Full Chinese Menu Operating interface
Principle
The thickness of nonconductive insulating coating on nonmagnetic metal substrate was measured by using the eddy Current thickness measurement principle.
Applications
Laboratory, Engineering Site, Chemical Industry, Automobile, Shipbuilding, Light Industry, Aerospace, Aviation, Commodity Inspection, Anti-corrosion, Eletroplating
Steps
1. Calibrate using one point Calibration method
2. Select Measurement mode and working mode
3. Set the limit value (optional)
4. Perform thickness measurement
5. View or delete stored data
6. Manual shutdown or wait for automatic shutdown
Notice
• Only for measurement of nonconductive insulating coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates
• Minimum measurement surface is φ 7mm
• Minimum radius of curvature: convex 1.5mm, concave 9mm
• The thinnest substrate thickness is 0.5mm.
• Pay attention to the power undervoltage indication and replace the battery in time
• Measured value will automatically alarm when it exceeds the limit
