Overview
The LEEB leeb222 (N1) Coating thickness gauge is a dual-use Portable thickness gauge with an external Probe design and optional F1 and N1 probes. Measurement range is 0 to 1250 microns. The shell is made of red plastic, equipped with two probes and calibration shim. Operating interface has buttons such as zero, limit, exit, clear, up, down, menu, etc., suitable for measurement of nonconductive insulating cover thickness on nonmagnetic metal substrates.
Features
1. Data deletion function
2. Boundaries can be set
3. Full Chinese menu
4. Measurement modes
5. Two ways of working
6. Power undervoltage indication
7. Store 500 Measured values
8. Manual and automatic shutdown methods
9. Measured value outside the limit can automatically alarm
Principle
The thickness gauge uses the eddy Current Measurement principle to generate an electromagnetic field through the Probe. When the Probe is close to the nonconductive insulating cover on a nonmagnetic metal substrate, the electromagnetic field change is detected and converted into a thickness value for accurate measurement.
Applications
Eletroplating, anti-corrosion, aerospace, aviation, chemical industry, automobile, shipbuilding, light industry, commodity inspection
Steps
1. Power on and select Measurement mode
2. Use the calibration shim for zero calibration
3. Set measurement limits (optional)
4. Probe placed vertically on the measured surface for measurement
5. View and store measurement data
6. Clear or delete data as required
7. Select manual or automatic shutdown
Notice
• Zero must be performed before measurement to ensure accuracy
• The minimum diameter of the measurement surface is φ 7mm
• The thinnest thickness of the substrate is 0.5mm.
• Operating temperature range 0~ 40 ℃
• relative humidity range of 20~ 90% RH
• Pay attention to the power undervoltage indication and replace the battery in time
• Probe placed vertically on the surface during measurement
Store data with no more than 500 Measured values
