Principle
The SMART SENSOR AR862D + Infrared Thermometer works based on the principle of infrared radiation. By detecting the infrared energy emitted by the surface of the object (Response wavelength 8 to 14 μm), combined with the emissivity setting (adjustable from 0.10 to 1.00), the radiant energy is converted into a temperature reading, enabling non-contact rapid temperature measurement.

Steps
1. Install the 9V battery and turn it on.
2. Set the temperature unit (° C or ° F) and emissivity as required.
3. Use the laser positioning function to aim at the target object.
4. Press the measurement button and the instrument displays the temperature reading within 500ms.
5. Use the data lock function to save the measurement results.
6. Automatic shutdown after use to save power.

• Operating temperature range is 0~ 40 ℃, avoid use in environments beyond the range.
• The relative humidity should be kept at 10~ 95% RH and not condensed to prevent the instrument from getting wet.
• Storage Temperature range is -20~ 60 ℃ to ensure storage under suitable conditions.
• When using, pay attention to the object distance ratio of 20:1 to ensure that the measurement distance is within the effective range.
• Regularly check the battery power to avoid affecting the Measurement accuracy due to insufficient power.
