Overview
The KAIRDA NDT280S Shore hardness gauge is a red fully sealed metal shell Shore hardness gauge for rolls. It can not only detect general steel and cast iron, but also apply to the Hardness measurement of cast steel rolls, forged steel rolls and cast iron rolls. The hardness gauge is a multi-functional hardness gauge that combines all the functions of a general-purpose Leeb hardness tester. It can be externally connected to different Impact devices for different Hardness measurement values, and does not require calibrating. It has the function of automatically identifying different Impact devices.

Principle
The NDT280S Shore hardness gauge uses the principle of Richter hardness testing to calculate the Hardness value by measuring the rebound speed after the impact device produces an impact on the surface of the material. It can automatically identify different Impact devices and realize automatic conversion of various Hardness standards, providing accurate measurement results without additional calibrating.

Steps
1. Turn on and check the indication Adjustment.
2. Select or automatically identify the Impact device.
3, Impact device aligned with the surface of the measured material for measurement.
4. Read the displayed Hardness value (multiple Hardness standards can be automatically switched).
5. Store measurement data (optional).
6. Connect to the computer through the USB interface for data exchange or printing.
Notice
• The measurement direction can be arbitrary (360 °), but it is necessary to ensure that the Impact device is in vertical contact with the surface for accurate results.
• Operating temperature is -10~ 55 ℃, out of range may affect Measurement accuracy.
• Use 2 × 1.5V ordinary alkaline batteries to ensure sufficient power supply to avoid data loss.
• Be careful not to exceed the 500-group limit when storing data.
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments to prevent affecting measurement Stability.
• Regularly check the indication Repeatability, the error should be within the range of +/- 6HLD.
