Overview
JFL JFL-B60 (ordinary type) glossmeter is a general-purpose Stone light meter, produced according to the national verification specification JJG696 standard, with the characteristics of good measurement Stability, high accuracy and small size. The instrument adopts a 60-degree projection angle, Measurement range 0.0~ 199.9Gs, Indication Error < 1.2, equipped with automatic zero correction function, only one AA battery can be used for object surface gloss measurement.
Features
1. In line with the national verification regulations JJG696 standard production
2. Stability and accuracy of measurement
3. Compact and easy to carry
4. With automatic zero correction function
5. Powered by only one AA battery
6. Measurement range 0.0~ 199.9Gs
7. Indication Error < 1.2
8.60 Degree Standard Measurement Angles
Principle
The JFL-B60 glossmeter measures the surface Glossiness by illuminating the surface of the measured object at a 60-degree projection angle and measuring the intensity of its reflected light. The instrument adopts a standard plate calibrating system, which is calibrated by black Glass Calibration plate and white ceramic standard plate to ensure Measurement accuracy and Stability.
Applications
Coatings, paints, inks, plastics, Stone, flooring, wood home surfaces
Standards
JJG696、ISO-2813、ASTM-D2457、GB9754、GB9966、GB8807
Steps
1. Press the switch, place the Gloss Meter on the Black Glass Calibration plate, and the swirl/spin adjustment knob makes the displayed value the same as the nominal value of the standard plate
2. Place the Gloss Meter on the white ceramic standard plate, and check that the error between the displayed value and the standard plate nominal value should not be greater than +/- 1.2 Gloss unit
3. When the error exceeds, calibrate again according to the method of the first two steps
4. After calibrating the measurement sample, the overflow "1" is displayed when the Measured value exceeds 199.9 Gloss units
Notice
• During the calibration process, if the error between the displayed value and the nominal value of the white ceramic standard plate is greater than +/- 1.2 Gloss unit, the standard plate should be considered dirty and other issues
• Measured values exceeding 199.9 Gloss units display overflow "1"
• Need to re-calibrate when the error exceeds the error
• Make sure the standard board is clean and pollution-free before use
