YONGCHAOMT D10-YC100-L240mm Experimental Spreader Metering rod is a precision Spreader tool manufactured by cold extrusion processing technology. It replaces the bar of traditional winding steel wire by machining concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion on the surface of the steel rod, achieving a more stable and durable Spreader effect, suitable for precise Spreader operations in laboratories and other scenarios.
Features
1. Using cold extrusion processing technology, the concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion is integrally formed on the surface of the steel rod to replace the traditional winding steel wire and eliminate the risk of loosening or breaking the steel wire.

Principle
The Metering rod utilizes a specific concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion structure precisely machined on its surface by cold extrusion technology. During the Spreader operation, the paint is filled in the Linear dispersion groove. When the rod body rolls or scrapes on the surface of the substrate, the excess paint is removed, and the paint in the groove is transferred to the substrate by Basis Weight, resulting in a uniform and film thickness-controlled wet-film. The designed Linear dispersion profile functions as the same Basis Weight transfer as the traditional winding steel bar.

Steps
1. Ensure that the surface of Metering rod and substrate to be Spreader is clean and drying.
2. Pour an appropriate amount of paint or place it on one end of the substrate.
3. Holding both ends of the Metering rod, at a certain angle and uniform pressure, the part of the rod body with the Linear dispersion structure is smoothly scraped or rolled over the paint area.
4. After completing the single Spreader, clean the surface of the Metering rod with a suitable solvent in time.
Notice
• Before use, check whether the Linear dispersion on the surface of the Metering rod is complete, smooth, and free of damage or foreign matter.
• During operation, the pressure should be applied evenly and the speed should be stable to ensure the film Film thickness conformity.
• After use, it should be thoroughly cleaned with an appropriate solvent (such as the corresponding paint thinner) immediately to avoid the coating drying up and blocking the Linear dispersion groove.
• Use a soft cloth or brush when cleaning, and avoid scratching with hard objects to avoid damaging the hard chrome platings on the surface.
• Store in a drying environment to avoid bumping to protect the precision machined Linear dispersion structure.
• The wet film thickness is marked as 100μm, the actual dry-film thickness will vary depending on the coating Solid content, composition and drying conditions.
