Overview
YONGCHAOMT D10-YC015-L400mm Experimental Spreader Metering rod is a long bar made using advanced cold extrusion processing technology. The product is machined on the surface of 304 stainless steel rod by precision mold to produce concave and convex wavy Linear dispersion, which replaces the traditional way of winding steel wire and effectively avoids the problem of steel wire loosening and fracture. The bar surface is plated with a high hardness hard chromium layer, which significantly improves Abrasion Resistance and service life, and the surface is smooth and smooth, which is easy to clean. The total length of this model is 400mm, the effective Spreader width is 310mm, and the wet film thickness is 15μm.
Features
1. Using cold extrusion processing technology, Linear dispersion is integrally formed on the surface of the steel rod, without winding the steel wire, which eliminates the risk of loosening or breaking the steel wire.
2. Linear dispersion on the surface is smooth and smooth, easy to clean thoroughly and easy to maintain.
3. The surface is plated with a hard chromium layer with a hardness of up to 1300HV, with excellent Abrasion Resistance and long service life.
4. Machined with precision molds, the Spreader effect is stable and reliable.
5. The rod body is made of 304 stainless steel, which is sturdy and durable.
Principle
The Spreader Metering rod is used to Basis Weight Transfer and Spreader Liquid through its surface precision machined concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion. In use, an appropriate amount of paint is placed on the substrate and scraped with bar at uniform speed and pressure. Linear dispersion grooves on the surface of the Spreader Metering rod will carry the paint Basis Weight, and form a layer of film thickness uniform on the surface of the substrate during the scraping process, corresponding to the bar model. Wet-film.
Applications
Spreaders, sample prepatives, coating performance testing, small batch experimental production
Standards
No specific compliance criteria were mentioned in the data.
Steps
1. According to the desired wet film thickness, select the appropriate bar model (e.g. D10-YC015 corresponds to 15μm).
2. Place the substrate to be Spreader flat.
3. Take an appropriate amount of paint and place it on one end of the substrate.
4. Hold the bar at both ends (with a width of 45mm in hand) and scrape the bar from one end of the paint to the other at a uniform speed and with appropriate pressure.
5. After finishing the Spreader, clean the bar in time.
Notice
• Please check the model selection table according to the required wet film thickness before use to ensure correct selection.
• Spreaders need to keep the bar parallel to the substrate surface and apply uniform, constant pressure and speed to ensure uniform film Film thickness.
• After use, the surface of the bar should be thoroughly cleaned with a suitable solvent or cleaning agent immediately to prevent the paint residue from drying up, affecting the accuracy of the next use and damaging the bar.
• Do not use hard objects to scratch or hit the surface of the bar, so as not to damage the delicate chrome coating and Linear dispersion structure.
Store in a dry and clean environment to avoid bumping.
• This model is a long bar with a total length of 400mm, and the effective Spreader width is 310mm. Please pay attention to reserved space during operation.
