Principle
Measurement and control of the film thickness of the Spreader liquid is achieved by the Metering rod through the precision-machined concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion on its surface. When the rod rolls or scrapes on the surface of the substrate, the excess liquid is scraped off by the raised part of the wavy Linear dispersion, and the groove part leaves a wet-film of predetermined film thickness, thus achieving accurate wet-film Spreader. Steps
1. According to the required wet film thickness, refer to the model selection table to select the appropriate Metering rod model.
2. Ensure that the surface of Metering rod and substrate to be Spreader is clean and drying.
3. Pour or drop an appropriate amount of Spreader liquid onto one end of the substrate.
4. Hold both ends of the Metering rod and scrape the rod smoothly across the liquid area at constant speed and pressure.
5. After the Spreader is completed, immediately clean the surface of the Metering rod with a suitable solvent and store it properly.
