Overview
YONGCHAOMT D10-YC0150-L400mm Experimental Spreader Metering rod is a long bar with a length of 400mm. It uses cold extrusion technology to process concave and convex wavy Linear dispersion on the surface of the steel rod to realize the Spreader function. Its effective film width is 310mm, wet film thickness is 150μm, made of 304 stainless steel and plated with hard chrome, which is wear-resistant, easy to clean, and has no risk of wire loosening.
Features
1. Using cold extrusion processing technology, Linear dispersion is integrally formed on the surface of the steel rod, replacing the traditional winding steel wire method to prevent the steel wire from loosening or breaking.
2. Linear dispersion on the surface is smooth and smooth, easy to clean thoroughly.
3. The surface is plated with hard chromium with hardness up to 1300HV, which greatly improves Abrasion Resistance and service life.
4. The rod body is made of 304 stainless steel, with a sturdy and durable structure.
5. Designed for long bars, with a total length of 400mm, providing an effective Spreader width of 310mm.
Principle
The Spreader Metering rod uses a precision die to process a concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion with a specific spacing and height on the surface of the steel rod through cold extrusion processing. When Spreader, the excess paint is placed on the substrate and scraped with bar. The Linear dispersion structure on the surface of the rod can accurately scrape off the excess paint, leaving a uniform wet-film coating on the substrate corresponding to the height of the Linear dispersion gap.
Applications
Experimental Spreader, Coating R & D, inks testing, Adhesive coating, Functional coating prepative
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria.
Steps
1. According to the required wet film thickness, refer to the model selection table to select the appropriate bar model.
2. Place the substrate to be Spreader flat.
3. Apply excess liquid (e.g. paint, inks, etc.) to one end of the substrate.
4. Hold both ends of the bar (45mm in each hand width) and scrape the bar across the liquid area at a uniform speed and appropriate pressure.
5. Linear dispersion of the bar surface will scrape off excess liquid to form a wet-film of uniform Film thickness.
6. Clean the surface of the bar with a suitable solvent in time after use to keep it clean.
Notice
• Please select the corresponding type of Metering rod accurately according to the required wet film thickness.
• During operation, ensure that the bar is in uniform contact with the substrate, and scrape at constant speed and pressure.
• Wash thoroughly immediately after use to prevent the paint from drying up in the Linear dispersion groove.
• Use a soft cloth or brush when cleaning to avoid scratching the chrome coating on the surface with hard objects.
• Pay attention to protection when storing to avoid the rod body being hit or bent to prevent affecting the Spreader accuracy.
• This product is an experimental Spreader Metering rod, suitable for R & D test environment.
