Overview
LX-A Shore A hardness gauge is an HBO brand product, suitable for the determination of Hardness of ordinary Hardness plastics, leather, rubber, polygrease and wax. Widely used in various mass testing, physical experiments, engineering testing and other fields.
Features
1. Suitable for the determination of hardness of materials
2. Portable design, light weight
3. Measurement accuracy, resolution up to 1HA
4. Compliance with international standards
Principle
The sample is pressed vertically through the needle, and the Hardness value is read when the pressure foot is in complete contact with the sample. Accurate Hardness data is obtained by averaging multiple measurements.
Applications
Mass inspection, physical experiment, engineering test
Standards
JB/T6148-2017、GBT 38119-2019/ISO21509:2006、GBT531.1-2008/ISO7619-1:2004、DiN 53505、ASTM D2240、IS0/R868、JIS R7215
Steps
1. Place the sample on a solid plane, hold the hardness gauge, and the crimp is at least 12mm away from the edge of the sample
2. Press the pressure foot firmly on the sample, so that the pressure needle is pressed vertically into the sample, until the pressure foot and the sample are in full contact with the reading within 1s
3. Hardness measurement 5 times at different positions with measuring points at least 6mm apart, taking the average value (microporous material measuring points at least 15mm apart)
4. For stability testing conditions and improve Test accuracy, the hardness gauge device should be measured on the same type of test frame produced in the supporting production
Notice
• The needle is at least 12mm away from the edge of the sample
• The needle needs to be pressed vertically into the sample during measurement
• Readings within 1 second after full contact between the pressure foot and the sample
• Measuring point spacing of at least 6mm (microporous material of at least 15mm)
• It is recommended to use the matching test frame to improve the Test accuracy
