Overview
LX-AO Shore AO hardness gauge is a Portable hardness testing equipment of HBO brand, suitable for the determination of low Hardness rubber and sponge, or the Hardness measurement of rubber with a Hardness value lower than Shore A hardness gauge Hardness 20HA. Widely used in various mass testing, physical experiments, engineering testing and other fields.
Features
1. Portable design, light weight only 0.2kg, easy to carry and operate
2. Measurement range covers 20-90HAO, resolution up to 1HAO
3. Indication Error Small ,≤ +/- 1HAO, Test accuracy is high
4. Suitable for Low Hardness Materials such as Rubber, Sponge, etc
5. It can be used with the test frame to improve the test Stability
Principle
The LX-AO Shore AO hardness gauge is pressed vertically into the specimen by pressing the needle. When the pressing foot is in full contact with the specimen, the Hardness value is read within 1 second. The instrument is based on the principle of Shore hardness testing to measure the ability of a material to resist pressing and thus determine its Hardness.
Applications
General hardness testing of hard rubber, hard Resin, acrylic, Glass, thermal plasticity plastic, printing board, fiber, etc
Standards
DiN53505、ASTMD2240、1S0/R868、JISR7215、GB/T531-99、GB2411-80、HG/T2489-93、JJG304-2003
Steps
1. Place the specimen on a firm flat surface, hold the LX-AO Portable Shore Shore Durometer, and keep the pin at least 12mm away from the edge of the specimen
2. Press the pressure foot firmly on the sample, so that the pressure needle is pressed vertically into the sample, until the pressure foot and the sample are in full contact, the reading within 1s
3. Hardness measurement 5 times at different positions with measuring points at least 6mm apart, taking the average value (microporous material measuring points at least 15mm apart)
4. If the stability testing conditions, improve the Test accuracy, can be LX-AO Portable Shore Shore Durometer device in the supporting production of the same type of test frame
Notice
• The needle is at least 12mm away from the edge of the sample
• Reading within 1 second after full contact between the pressure foot and the sample
• Different measuring points should be at least 6mm apart (microporous material at least 15mm)
• Average 5 measurements to improve accuracy
• It is recommended to use the matching test frame to improve the test Stability
